The 'browse button' brings up a page with a listing of all users and communities, 20 to a page. Lists restricted to only users or only communities can be selected from a menu. You can select whether to show icons or not.
The 'Filter' box enables you to provide a single keyword or tag to restrict the list of users or communities that are given.
